Terms of service.

This is the agreement between you and MOSAIC PARADIGM, LLC covering the Frisket application and the frisket.app website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

1This agreement

"We", "us", and "the company" mean MOSAIC PARADIGM, LLC. "You" means the person or organization installing, using, or buying a license for Frisket. "The software" means the Frisket macOS application, including its updates and documentation.

By downloading, installing, or using the software you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install the software; if you have already paid, ask for a refund under the refund policy.

If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.

2Your license

When you hold a valid license we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the software:

The license is tied to the purchase email it was issued to. You may not sell, rent, sublicense, publish, or otherwise transfer your license key, and you may not share it outside the seats described above. A license key identifies its purchase; a key found in circulation can be revoked.

Volume, team, and organization-wide licensing are not offered today. If you need several seats, buy the corresponding number of licenses.

3Plans and what updates you get

There is one edition of the software. The plans differ only in how you pay and how long updates continue.

Lifetime

Yearly

We may change published prices at any time. A price change never applies retroactively to a completed one-time purchase, and any change to a subscription renewal price is notified before it takes effect so you can cancel first.

4The trial

The software includes a 14-day trial of the complete application. No account and no payment details are required. The trial is offered once per Mac and is intended to let you evaluate the software honestly; deliberately resetting or circumventing it is a breach of these terms. When the trial ends the software continues to run and the licensed features pause.

5Activation, seats, and revalidation

Activating a license binds it to that Mac and uses one seat. Activation and periodic revalidation send only your license key, a hashed machine identifier, and the application version — never your content and never the raw hardware identifier of your Mac. The software revalidates roughly once a week when it has a network connection and keeps working offline for a grace window of about 30 days.

You can free a seat at any time with Deactivate this Mac in the License pane. If a Mac is lost, sold, or unbootable, write to us and we will release the seat.

We may suspend or revoke a license key that is being shared beyond its seats, that was obtained fraudulently, or whose payment was reversed or charged back. Where practical we contact you first.

6Acceptable use

The software can read keystrokes and the clipboard and can type on your behalf. Use it only on machines and accounts you are authorized to use, and only in ways that are lawful where you are. You agree not to:

You are responsible for what the software types, pastes, and automates on your behalf. It acts on your instructions.

7Ownership

The software is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the software, its source code, its design, the Frisket name, and the clover mark. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

Content you create with the software — your snippets, your cheat sheets, your clipboard history, your settings — is yours. It stays on your Mac (or in your own iCloud account if you enable sync). We claim no rights over it and have no access to it.

The software includes third-party open-source components under their own licenses; those licenses are listed in the application and govern those components.

8Purchases, merchant of record, and tax

the jurisdiction in which MOSAIC PARADIGM, LLC is organized — our payment provider acts as the merchant of record for every purchase. That means the provider, not us, is the seller of record for your order: it takes your payment, calculates and remits applicable VAT, GST, and sales taxes, issues your invoice or receipt, and handles chargebacks. Its name is what appears on your card or bank statement. Its own terms of sale and privacy policy apply to the payment transaction alongside these terms.

We never receive or store your card details. We receive the order details needed to issue and support your license — your name, email address, plan, and order reference.

Prices are published in US dollars on the pricing page. Tax is calculated at checkout for your location and shown before you pay.

Frisket is a standard, non-customized digital product, delivered automatically by email within minutes of payment. There are no physical goods, no services, no bespoke work, and no manual fulfilment step.

9Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on every purchase. The full policy — what qualifies, how to ask, how long it takes, and how subscription cancellation differs from a refund — is on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms. Refunds are processed by the merchant of record back to your original payment method. A refunded license is deactivated.

Nothing here limits any statutory right you have as a consumer, including any statutory right of withdrawal in your country.

10Privacy and macOS permissions

What the software does with your data is described on the privacy page, which forms part of these terms. In short: everything is processed on your Mac, there is no telemetry or analytics, and the only things that can leave your Mac are license checks, consented update checks, and optional clipboard sync to your own iCloud account.

The software asks for macOS permissions (such as Accessibility and Input Monitoring) only when a feature that needs one is first used, explains why beforehand, and degrades gracefully if you decline. You can revoke any permission in System Settings at any time. When macOS signals secure input — a password field — the software stands down and neither observes nor types.

11Support and changes to the software

Support is provided by email to license holders and trial users alike, in English, on a reasonable-effort basis. Support is not a separately sold service and there is no guaranteed response time.

We may add, change, or remove features between versions, and we may end support for an older macOS release. We will not deliberately disable a version you already have installed. Updates are delivered in the application, are signed and notarized, and are only downloaded automatically if you consent; you can always check manually instead.

12Termination

You may stop using the software at any time; deleting the application ends this agreement, and you may deactivate your seats first so the license can be reused.

Your license ends automatically if you materially breach these terms — in particular the acceptable-use and license-sharing sections — and we may deactivate the key. Where the breach can be fixed and was not deliberate, we will ask you to fix it first. A subscription ends at the end of its paid term if it is cancelled or if a payment fails.

Sections 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, and 16 survive termination.

13No warranty

The software is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every configuration of macOS or every other application.

The software automates keyboard input and reads other applications' interfaces. It can type the wrong thing into the wrong window if you tell it to. You are responsible for keeping backups and for reviewing what it does in contexts where a mistake would matter.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you; in that case any implied warranty is limited to the shortest period the law allows.

14Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business, or lost or corrupted data, even if advised that such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the software or these terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the software in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to fifty US dollars ($50).

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any non-excludable consumer right.

15Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which MOSAIC PARADIGM, LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in the jurisdiction in which MOSAIC PARADIGM, LLC is organized have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect its intellectual property.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally and to rely on your own consumer-protection law, that right is not affected by this section.

The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
